San Francisco-based art consulting firm MDG Art Advisory and Themes+Projects art gallery are pleased to announce the opening of the extraordinary, nature-inspired exhibition, Klari Reis - Life Forms, by the accomplished international artist, Klari Reis. Comprising Klari Reis' first solo exhibition in San Francisco in a decade, the new series of botanical paintings will be exhibited from May 7 - July 9, 2022.
The sublimely colorful botanical artworks showcase Klari's masterful use of epoxy resin (a form of liquid plastic) and the fine control she brings to its reactions using a constantly expanding variety of dyes and pigments. Radiant and playful, the paintings were conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic, when Klari was inspired by the colors and shapes she saw during regular nature walks with her family.
Klari's work has been widely exhibited internationally and is included in the collections of Stanford University, Google, The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Microsoft, Genentech, and The Gates Foundation.
