SEE EVENT DETAILS
Hello, San Francisco Chapter community! We are excited to host our third formal gathering of the year on July 10th to kick off the challenge of homelessness that we will work on for the next 6 months of 2019! Grab your ticket and don't forget to RSVP via Eventbrite at the link below.A quick overview of what is done so far:In our first event of this year, “CoCreation” on March 11th, the community brainstormed with the immediate and most pressing challenges we face in San Francisco and the Bay Area and from three different themes, homelessness was voted as the most pressing and hyper-local issue that is relatable. In the second gathering of the year, “Co-create Follow-up: Challenges 2019” on March 25, the community re-looked at the topic of homelessness and created "how might we" questions. Here are the top voted ones:HMW provide appropriate care in a personalized way? HMW incentivize homeless populations in SF to empower themselves through community engagement?Since then, we have contacted around 40 different organizations who are providing services for homeless people to learn from and see the opportunity for creating partnerships with. On July 10th event, “kick off homelessness challenge”, we are getting together to learn more about the problem that we want to address and plan our future steps. Representatives from several organizations will attend as the panel speakers (TBD) to give us an overview and insights about their work and the community they serve. The goal is that members get more familiar with the challenge, ask questions, and plan for the field trip and the user research process. Here’s the agenda:6.00 - 6.30 pm.
