Twenty-seven Sanchez Art Center studio artists invite you to come see their work and visit their studios in Pacifica. The 2018 Open Studios event kicks off with a Preview Party on Friday, Nov 2, from 6 to 9 pm, featuring a wine bar and live music. Open Studios will continue on Saturday, Nov 3, from 11 to 5 pm. Browse (and buy) art by local professional artists in a variety of mediums, including painting, printmaking, photography, encaustic, sculpture, textiles, mixed media, and jewelry. On Saturday, enjoy local artisan foods and beverages from Pedro Point Brewing, Assemble to Order Catering, Craftsman Coffee, and Rosalind Bakery.
Come check it out. You’re sure to find some kindred spirits. Feel free to ask questions and get to know the artists. Learn about the inspirations and techniques they rely on, the tools and materials they use, how they began making art and what keeps them going. During Open Studios, all three galleries will be open to the public, featuring the Art Guild of Pacifica’s 60th Annual Members Show and the exhibit by the 59th Annual Awards Artists: Laura Lee Green, Alice Kelmon, Andrew Leone, and Rick Lucia. These wonderful exhibits will run through Sunday, Nov 18.
