Tricia is a wildlife artist that paints based on experiences she has had with her subject matter. Though her subjects are painted in acrylic using a more realistic manner, her backgrounds are quite contemporary and urban.
She focuses a great deal on visual texture through trowel and plaster work, playing with the reflection of light through the use of metallics as well. The reflective quality sets itself apart from the more uniform subject creating a visually stimulating work of art.
She works primarily on wood birch panels as this allows her to really explore the materials in a greater manner.
Questions, comments, please feel free to contact Tricia directly.
