Our season opener showcases Mark Camphouse’s magnificent Yosemite Autumn. The shimmering harmonies of Eric Whitacre’s Lux Arumque are joined by recent works of Brian Balmages and Charles Carter. Looking back to “then,†our program includes time-honored tunes by J.S. Bach and Nicholas Rimsky-Korsakov, a medley of sea shanties in Ralph Vaughn Williams’ Sea Songs, and concludes with Franz von Suppé’s energetic Light Cavalry Overture.
