Established in 2019, ODOS is a 501c3 nonprofit advocating for Women of Color Global Entrepreneurs. African American female entrepreneurs are the fastest-growing segment in the United States however the least likely funded. Many underserved entrepreneurs are experiencing inequities and disparate treatment including access to financial resources, credit, banking relationships, and angel funding. Many financially bootstrap their businesses. The Pandemic and federal Payment Protection Act has failed this niche segment, and many are losing their businesses. ODOS provides economic development education resources, conferences and information.
