Ocean Beach feat: Mark Farina

On Sunday, September 29, Silent Frisco returns to the home of some of its most sublime events, Ocean Beach, San Francisco, for the Fiat urban Surf Party. San Francisco’s legendary DJ MARK FARINA will play a patented two-hour “Mushroom Jazz” set to close out the day as the sun sinks into the Pacific. He will be joined by a who’s who of the city’s finest artists, including Om Records Dubtronic groovesmith DJ J BOOGIE, funk freak MOTION POTION, disco producer SHOUTS! Pink Mammoth dance-a-thon DEREK HENA, and eclectic club wizard MATT HAZE. A live electronic set will be played by SF heroes NVO and we proudly welcome the Silent Disco debut of Los Angeles phenoms BLACK 22’s. All of this will take place in the beautiful north end of Ocean Beach with the artists performing on top a double decker art car and the audience spread for a half acre out on the sand. As always, the event will feature Silent Frisco’s super “Yellow Jacket” wireless headphones. There will also be food-trucks, kick-balls and other beachside fun.
