Kimya Dawson plays magical songs on the acoustic guitar. Best known for her role in the Moldy Peaches and the Juno Soundtrack, Kimya is one of the most powerful songwriters in the world.
Films:
Torrey Pines is a stop-motion animated feature film by director Clyde Petersen. It is screened with a live score by the band Your Heart Breaks. Based on a true story, the film is a queer punk coming-of-age tale, taking place in Southern California in the early 1990's.
Raised by a schizophrenic single mother, Petersen's life story unfolds in a series of baffling and hallucinated events. With a mother fueled by hallucinations of political conspiracy and family dysfunction, twelve-year-old Petersen is taken on a cross-country adventure that will forever alter the family as they know it.

Johnny Physical Lives is the story of the secret world of two brothers making a rock n’ roll documentary as one goes through cancer treatment. When younger brother Jonathan passes away in the midst of the production, older brother Joshua must finish the project on his own. First time filmmaker, Joshua Neuman weaves footage of his brother Jonathan in and out of the hospital during treatment with an interview of Jonathan shot by famed documentarian Albert Maysles and live animation to “physically” bring to life Jonathan’s inner world, showing how he experienced cancer through the eyes of a rock star.
