About the Show:
Since the 1950s, North Beach has been San Francisco's number one destination for stand-up comedy. From Robin Williams, to Ellen Degeneres, to Whoopi Goldberg...they all got their start in North Beach.
Lets revamp San Francisco's tradition with a hilarious night of laughter with some of San Francisco local celebrity comedians. Come see a blend of local and touring comedians to bring in the New Year and have an unforgetable night. Comedians on this showcase have been seen at SF Sketchfest, Comedy Central and NBC!
UPDATED COCKTAIL MENU
The menu will focus on craft cocktails made by barkeeps that are as passionate about their drinks as the management team is about the Savoy. Featured cocktails will rotate regularly as the bar program evolves. A combined 18 draught taps adorn the two bars and will maintain 6 rotating taps that will feature local craft beers. A complete wine list is also available.
Signature Cocktails:
Beach Blanket (A mescal based Negroni).
Blushing Sour (Slightly tart, emulsified gin and Muscat based cocktail).
Passion and Fuego (Spicy citrus and aged agave beverage).
Chango Coco (a demi-sec tropical escape with coconut and tequila blanco).
Innocent Until Caught (Low ABC, Sherry'd whiskey cocktail).
Claire's Side Car (Our take on a side car in memory of Claire Kozel our proprietor from 1987 to 2018).
Sangria (Our recipe perfected over decades).
About Savoy:
Be among the first to see the newly rennovated 117-year-old venue in all its refurbished glory after an extensive renovation with glowing palm trees, over 20 hand-crafted art deco lamps, parisian-style tables, the same murals that decorated its walls since the 1960s plus new art from local North Beach legend Jeremy Fish to create a one-of-a-kind San Francisco experience.
The two bars of the Savoy, each decorated to their own distinct characteristics, have been rejuvenated while maintaining their essence. In the "old bar" you'll still see the same murals that decorated its walls in the 1960's but you'll also see new murals and new artwork that blend into that period as if they've always been there. The fancy lady with pearls, still sits atop the bar, keeping secrets as she has decade over decade. The old dance floor is now a plush lounge with repurposed Art Deco lamps that evoke a sense of turn of the 20th century Hollywood elegance.
