Join us for our 2nd annual FREE KIDS CARNIVAL at the Palace of Fine Arts on Saturday May 4th. Non Plus Ultra invites families from around the Bay to come inside the great atrium and play carnival games and enjoy live music. Look for our special performers, bicycle carousels, skee-ball, cotton candy, shaved ice, face painting and glitter art, and several local exhibitors with summer camp ideas for the kids!
Donations will be collected to benefit Project Wreckless - a youth capacity development program based in the Bayview Neighborhood. Project Wreckless teaches "TOOLS FOR LIFE" by education programs in auto mechanics and classic car restorations. There will be race cars to see and & paint, and bumper cars to ride! Please visit our volunteers for more information about the exciting adventures that are Flipping the lives of at-risk youth.
Plenty of carnival fare available for purchase including hot dogs, nachos, grilled cheese, pretzels, cotton candy, popcorn, beer & wine, Royal Sun Shaved Ice, RuRu Kitchen Acai smoothies and salads, and hot coffee drinks from Madam Zola Fortune Cafe.
Parking and public transportation surrounds the historic Palace of Fine Arts exhibition hall. Entrance to the carnival will be at 3601 Lyon Street. Parking lots are located behind Palace Drive and also in the Presidio, Marina and Clement Street neighborhoods.
