Nomi Yah Gardiner Songbook Release Party

The Songbook Release Party celebrates the publication of the Nomi Yah Gardiner Songbook. From 4:00 to 5:00, the songwriter performs the songs, with back-up vocals by Anna Lissa Patterson and Stacy Hogg, recording a live CD, to be included with the songbook. From 5:00 to 6:30 there is a reception and performances by Nicole Milner, Laura Zucker, Phil Nudelman, Mike Lounibos, Kevin Beadles, Bob Crane, Shaana Keller, Mike Fleming, Liza Marie Sparks and other special guests.
ABOUT THE SONGBOOK - The Nomi Yah Gardiner Songbook (Book/CD) is 11 original songs for piano vocal guitar. This songbook is for anyone who loves to sing, whether you're a performing artist or a karaoke singer, whether you play an instrument or not. The book contains piano sheet music, separate vocal staff, guitar lead sheets, lyrics and chord symbols. The CD contains demos for listening and separate piano tracks so you can sing along. If you don’t play music, the songbook is filled with photographs, artwork, lyrics and autobiographical writing.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR - Nomi Yah Gardiner co-wrote King Of Kings, currently with Universal Music, recorded on gold album Petra Praise: The Rock Cries Out, top 10 on charts for a year. Nomi co-wrote Prison with Eek-A-Mouse on Eeksperience album. Her music has been featured in films, commercials and TV shows. She currently manages the West Coast Songwriters Berkeley Chapter at the Freight & Salvage.
