New England is not the first place you'd search for a beach pop foursome, but life is full of surprises. Pop perfect indie tunes, sentimental on the verge of twee lyrics, and a penchant for watery landscapes combine to make Tipling rock a sweet treat of a band. These boys are the inheritors of feel good indie rock vibes from a lifetime ago, not dangerous but hard to resist: like Sondre Lerche or the Lucksmiths. Though the pandemic has paused much of the joy of seeing shows in person, Tipling Rock filled the gap with a mini-documentary of their NYC live set and some amazing acoustic videos set in rotating natural habitats. Easy to listen to and always enjoyable, Tipling Rock is a chance to slip back into live music and immerse yourself in chill vibes.
