What do we know about the mysteriously monikered Night Terrors of 1927? Well, they're from LA. We know that because it says so on their SoundCloud page, which only has one song on it. As does their official website. Perhaps there's more information on their Facebook page? Nope, they only signed up for that last week. Ah, but Twitter, everyone's on Twitter. Yep, they're on Twitter, but they've only tweeted three times and only have four followers. Still, it's all about the music, isn't it? Thankfully their debut offering, Watch the World Go Dark, is excellent. An impending apocalypse never sounded so good.

Parade of Lights are an alt-electro band based in Los Angeles. Comprised of
Ryan Daly, Anthony Improgo, and Mariana Machain, the group combines equal
parts rock, new wave, and shoegaze to create a unique blend of 80's
influenced pop drawing on inspiration from artists like U2, Depeche Mode,
M83, and even Madonna.

There's a new thing called Basic Vacation and we're pretty sure they're going to be rather large. Imagine Foster The People in a blender with Fun - plus the hooks and looks of One Direction sprinkled in for good measure - and you'll have an idea of the kind of hook-driven happy ending pop they're pumping out. But no matter how you cut it, debut single "I Believe" is a straight-ahead summertime smash, and we're excited to announce the band's LA debut at Popshop West on August 22. Hit City USA indeed.
