NIGHT SCHOOL Madi Sipes & The Painted Blue, Night Talks, Comfort

Night School are Alexandra, Baylie and Cheyenne. They are a band from Oakland, CA and are signed to Graveface Records which is based out of Savannah, GA. Their music is heavily influenced by a mixture of sad love songs of the 60’s and 90’s alternative rock. They released an EP entitled Heartbeat in October of 2014 and their full length album Blush was released in the summer of 2016.
Madi Sipes & The Painted Blue was formed in San Francisco during the spring of 2015 by singer/songwriter and guitarist Madi Sipes, who was soon joined by bassist/keyboardist Nick Cunningham and drummer Caleb Koehn. Once the trio was complete, they traveled to Los Angeles to write and record the last few songs of their debut album, “After Hours”, which had been in process by Sipes and producer Andrew Heringer since 2013. Madi & The Painted Blue have been touring regionally throughout Northern California and continue to play in the SF/Bay Area as the final sketches of the album are completed. In the meantime, take a listen to a secret release of a song called “Hush”, available via private stream card at shows, where you will be directed to an exclusive playlist available only to those that have a card.
