The DJ and producer is also founder of the Direct To Earth (DTE) event series, resident of the Shuffle Co-Op, and a major contributor to the SF bay area underground techno scene.
Max has performed at shows with different artists like Carl Craig, Marc Houle, Heiko Laux, Steve Rachmad, Evil Eddie Richards and Echospace among many others. He's also been churning away in the studio over the last few years, re-inventing his sound over and over again, incorporating new varieties of feeling each time.
Behind the decks, Max feels out the dancefloor. Sometimes he plays raw, gritty, heavy and experimental; incorporating tricks and switching up his methods. He uses spacious builds to set the tone while keeping the crowd guessing what's to come. Other times he'll bring more inviting sounds, friendly, funky. While pushing the limits and trying new things, it's also common for him to sneak original productions into his DJ sets.
