SEE EVENT DETAILS
Fantastic Negrito with Mild Universe, Joel Robinow, DJ Walkin' + Zack Rodell

Fantastic Negrito is a powerhouse performer whose live shows are charged with emotion, intensity, and connection. Blending Delta blues, soul, funk, and rock, he delivers dynamic sets built on rhythm, storytelling, and fearless expression. The Oakland-born artist -- a three-time GRAMMY winner -- has earned a reputation for transforming every show into a deeply engaging, unforgettable experience.

From Glastonbury to Newport Folk, Fantastic Negrito captivates audiences with his mix of grit, humor, and raw honesty. His performances turn struggle into celebration, and his songs take on new life each night, reshaped by the moment and the crowd.

Every show is a testament to the power of live music to inspire, challenge, and bring people together.

Since winning NPR's inaugural Tiny Desk Contest, Fantastic Negrito has shared stages with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Chris Cornell, and Primus, and has collaborated in the studio with Sting, E-40, Tank and the Bangas, and many others.

He is also busy producing other artists featured on his independent record label, Storefront Records.

Mild Universe is a San Francisco based indie-dance collective that fuses 90s house influence with disco, soul, and post-punk, creating an eclectic live performance that's impossible to resist. Percussionist and songwriter Sam Jones crafts catchy indie-psych tracks with a dancefloor twist, complemented by effortless, soulful vocals.

The band is a six-piece ensemble, known for their lush synth textures, and horn arrangements. Mild Universe has become a standout in the Bay Area music scene, sharing the stage with artists like Say She She, Sugar Candy Mountain, Harvey Sutherland, and Automatic. Their debut LP "Everything Must Change" is a reflection on shifting relationships, love, and the ever-changing landscape of San Francisco. Mild Universe blends psychedelic pop, house, and jazz improvisation to create kaleidoscopic anthems that unite people through the shared joy of music and dance.

Joel Robinow is an accomplished performer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and writer, was the frontman of Once and Future Band, and former member of The Black Crowes, Howlin Rain, Drunk Horse, East Bay Grease, and Total B.S. Born and raised in Oakland, where continues to call home.
