New Year's Eve Celebration at Le Colonial in San Francisco
On New Year's Eve, Sunday, December 31, Le Colonial in San Francisco will be seating from 5:30 to 10:45 PM (bar and lounge will be open until 2:00 AM) serving a limited a la carte dinner menu and Chef's specials that will include sundried pig skin soup/$14.00; nine freshly shucked Beausoleil oysters with toasted whole wheat bread/$27.00; duck foie gras with star anise brioche toast and spicy mango jam/$28.00; lobster cassolette with kaffir lime and coconut bisque, and a crusty Christmas hat/$60.00; oven roasted Beed beef tenderloin, with a lobster tail, turmeric sweet savory sauce and celery root purée/$75.00; and a traditional raspberry Napoleon cake with chocolate sauce and lychees/$14.00. Parties of eight and more will be required to order a family style prix fixe menu priced at either $85.00 or $95.00 per person. The restaurant's lounge (opens for cocktails at 5:00 PM/enter at 721 Sutter Street) will offer pre-sale tickets (www.lecolonialsf.com/nye.lounge) for entry beginning at 9:00 PM, DJ musical entertainment in the Club will begin at 10:00 PM and there will be a cover charge ($30.00 with dinner reservations, $40.00 pre-sale and $50.00 at door). All guests will receive complimentary party favors. Prices exclude beverages, tax and gratuity.
