Community Music Center is offering a brand-new online class for young instrumentalists ages 12-18 this Fall Quarter! This chamber music class explores musical themes from classic video games like Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, and Megalovania. Classes will focus on learning music from these games, weekly rhythm assignments and practice playing with a click track with the goal of creating collaborative video performances by the end of the quarter. History of music in video games will be explored through creative assignments. This class is a great way to explore more facets of music making and apply skills from other media to augment the traditional chamber music experience. Come join the fun!
