This is the core. The compost. The ish. These are the orphan compositions who flourished unnourished. Volunteer tomato jungle of forgotten fruit, over-ripe and dripping with nostalgia. Over-grown-algae-ridden fish tank of vibrant dusty heart-felt grunge music!
Barnyard Hammer
Barnyard Hammer is a blues and indie rock outfit based in the Marin Headlands, CA. The band plays original songs that move from heavy and high energy, to somber and stripped down. The band calls horse stables their home, and includes Trent Matthias (drums), Caleb Tesnow (bass/vocals), and Jon Blachly (guitar/vocals).
Lacey Rawlins
Coming up as a young guitarist Lacey Rawlins fell fast and hard for the sounds of Southern and Chicago style blues. While his hands couldn't always keep up, he could feel in his heart the bends, whines, and wails of guitar heroes like Johnny Shines, Luther Allison, and of course, the Three Kings. Years later, having committed himself entirely to his playing, He took an extended hiatus from live performing to fine tune his chops and learn his instrument inside and out. Now, as ready as ever, and bursting with renewed energy and skill, he is pleased to be taking to the stage once more.
