The Monterey Bay Chapter of the Native Plant Society is excited to present another installment in its monthly meeting series. These meetings focus on the various plants that are native to California. This month focuses on the subject of Sudden Oak Death, a serious exotic disease that is threatening the survival of several oak species throughout California. This meeting is designed to inform and educate the community about Sudden Oak Death, get locals involved in detecting the disease, and produce detailed local maps of disease distribution.
