ABOUT DARIUS SYROSSIAN
'It's all House and Techno & and I'm not interested fads' these words by Darius Syrossian not only define the style and sound of Darius, but also represent the principles by which he has successfully made his name as a DJ, Producer, Label boss and Radio host at a global level.
This year Darius Syrossian takes his DO NOT SLEEP party to Space Ibiza where he holds a weekly residency, he will be also delivering a compilation for the esteemed Balance series, and later in the year there is an Essential Mix for Radio 1, while continuing his international touring schedule.
But as a true workaholic Darius Syrossian has been living and breathing, playing and producing house music for all of his adult life. Having served 14 years in a record shop, he has the grass roots knowledge and understanding that has helped him rise to the very top of the global pile. Having played gigs at every major club and festival in every continent, he has also produced & released music on a whole host of the biggest record labels out there, with his most recent work in 2016 appearing on taste making labels such as Mobilee sister label Leena, Material, Swiss label Definition:Music as well as releasing the huge track Funkflex on the vinyl only label Rimming Records as an unnamed artist, and lets not forget his productions on his own Do Not Sleep label that is releasing music on both Vinyl & Digital.
Passionate and refreshingly outspoken Darius makes and plays music that is just as standout. a DJ Mag Best of British award winner who has helped establish Ibiza parties with influential residences for Viva Warriors and Tribal Sessions, but last year saw Darius Syrossian finally start his own brand DO NOT SLEEP, a party which took ibiza by storm in the summer of 2015
DO NOT SLEEP is now also a record label & a worldwide monthly radio show,
For Darius, The Radio show, the Space Residency, touring the world DJ'ing, alongside his producing & remixing, all of it embraces the philosophy of Darius to always focus on the music, and to always guard the principles of house and techno, and always, to remain true. In his own words: "I'm into the scene because I LOVE THE MUSIC, not like a lot of people who are into the music because they LOVE THE SCENE. It's only about the music for me, and that's all that matters!?"
ABOUT NATHAN BARATO
With his roots in the Toronto after-hours circuit and a profile that has since seen him smash premiere international platforms across the globe, Nathan Barato’s carved out a reputation as not only one of the most playable producers in dance music, but amongst its most prolific DJs as well.
In other words, Nathan Barato isn’t just the guy being invited to play all the big parties, he’s the guy everyone else on the bill is spinning too. Whether it was Marco Carola first rinsing Nathan’s 2012 hit “Hard Werq” to worldwide audiences just months before asking him to join the Music On roster, or Jamie Jones deeming Nathan a new star at the Hot Creations camp while making this year’s ‘Wobble Talk’ EP a mainstay in his superstar sets… the T.O. native has skyrocketed to international prominence as a well-respected and sought after name.
Many credit Nathan’s success to his genre diversity. His eclectic sound infuses many styles and has been recognized as one where the likes of 90's garage get sampled against the backdrop of funky techno. As Nathan Barato keeps on turning industry eyes and ears in his direction, he continues to get booked at some of the most vaunted events and clubs around the world, from festivals like BPM (Playa Del Carmen, Mexico), Ultra (Miami, USA), and We Are (London, UK), to venues that include Womb (Tokyo, Japan), Fabric (London, UK), WHP (Manchester, UK), Stereo (Montreal,Canada), Coda (Toronto, Canada), Output (New York, USA), Sound (Los Angeles, USA), Club Space (Miami, USA), Barn (Modena, Italy), DC10 (Ibiza, Spain), Amnesia (Ibiza, Spain), and more.
