Natasha Miller's Annual Holiday Concert

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Former Yoshi's San Francisco Location - Now Closed (see times)
San Francisco vocalist Natasha Miller will return to Yoshi's in San Francisco on December 23 in celebration of her 7th CD release,
"The Secret of Christmas".

It is her second collection of holiday music and features an original song that Natasha wrote, "What Christmas Means to Me" as well as re-imagined holiday classics including, "God Rest ye Merry Gentlemen" and "Winter Wonderland". With Sam Bevan at the helm producing and arranging, the CD landscape traverses the sounds of pop, folk, latin and a hint of jazz. The arrangements take on elements of the sonic tapestry of some of Natasha's favorite artists such as The Police, Shawn Colvin (John Leventhal/producer), Bonnie Raitt and are a mixture of those influences with both Sam and Natasha's individual artistic preferences folded in to the mix. As on most recordings and performances, in addition to singing on the tracks, Natasha also plays the violin on a few songs.

Stellar bay area musicians created the beautiful landscape of music and was led by veteran side-man/bassist Sam Bevan who has in the last few years been very busy producing and arranging music for local artists. Colin Hogan joins on piano, keyboard and accordion, Colin Douglas on drums, Rich Armstrong on horns and vocals, Gawain Matthews on mandolin, Matthew Charles Heulitt on electric and acoustic guitars, and Matt Lucas on percussion. The tracks were recorded by Jeremy Goody at Mega Sonic Studios in Oakland, and by Stephen Hart at 25th Studios also in Oakland.
