Street artist Musk is fond of painting mummies all over the Bay Area in unusual locations (bathrooms, trains, abandoned buildings). However, he's not averse to bringing his work into galleries as well. Local clothing company and gallery space Gift 2 Gab is hosting a "Back from the Dead" show of Musk's prints and clothing release party featuring pieces made in a collaboration between the gallery and Musk. The event also features a performance by local emcee Sean Blak. Also of interest to all the mummy fetishists out there, the Facebook event promises "sexy mummy body painting" which might be worth showing up for in itself. (Stephen Layton)
