For this very special event, Barefoot Chamber Concerts presents Musica Pacifica, the Bay Area's leading baroque chamber ensemble playing a concert of "Brandenburgs and More".
The core group (recorder, violin, harpsichord and cello) will be joined by soloists Justin Bland, trumpet, and Brandon Labadie, oboe, and a small string orchestra to play concertos including J.S. Bach's Brandenburg Concerto no. 2 (for oboe, violin, recorder and trumpet), and other concertos for multiple soloists by Telemann, Vivaldi, Fasch, and Bach.
This concert is a 25th birthday celebration for Musica Pacifica. There will be the usual snacks throughout the concert, but also champagne and cake at the end!
