MUSICA MARIN, the premier non-profit concert series dedicated to preserving musical culture by providing quality music programs and performances in San Francisco and Marin, brings together world-renowned artists from Europe, New York, and the S.F. Bay Area to collaborate with exceptionally-gifted up-and-coming young performers. Musica Marin musicians will be playing a rare quartet of one-of-a-kind string instruments hand-crafted by internationally renowned violin maker, Christophe Landon of New York, and skillfully hand-decorated by noted French artist Jean Patrick Gilbert, whose artwork will be on display. French-inspired food and wine will be offered at the event.
The afternoon program will include the Musica Marin String Quartet playing a world premiere piece by the organization’s dynamic, young, award-winning American Composer-in-Residence Clint Borzoni. Also performing will be the Grammy Award-winning San Francisco Boys Chorus.
