The San Francisco Choral Society concludes its 2025-2026 season with a program featuring Dona Nobis Pacem by Ralph Vaughan Williams alongside Bronte and The Lake Isle by Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo. Artistic Director Robert Geary leads the combined forces of the San Francisco Choral Society and California Chamber Symphony with soprano Michele Kennedy and baritone Kenneth Goodson featuring as soloists for the Vaughan Williams. The program will also feature guitarist Maxwell Gibbs, pianist Keisuke Nakagoshi and strings by the California Chamber Symphony.

This performance concludes SF Choral's season, underscoring its prominence as the Bay Area's largest community chorus and a staple in the local arts scene. The ensemble continues to demonstrate its resilience and appeal to community and professional singers across the region. Since its inception in 1989, the San Francisco Choral Society has flourished into the largest auditioned chorus in the region, bringing together community singers with professional artists from across the Bay Area. The organization has built a reputation for showcasing masterworks from the choral repertoire alongside innovative contemporary works. Throughout its history, SF Choral has commissioned new choral works from some of today's finest composers including Felicia Sandler, Kristina Rasmussen and Emma Lou Diemer, as well as recent commissions by Ola Gjeilo, Stacey Garrop, David Lang, and Chiayu Hsu.
