Mural Fest 2026

at The Box Shop (12:00 PM)
Last chance to view and celebrate our 140+ murals - SF's largest collection - before they're gone!

Sunday, June 14th * 12-4pm
951 Hudson Ave, San Francisco
Free with RSVP * Family-Friendly * All Ages

This collection of murals - San Francisco's largest - will never be exhibited again in its original form, as we are moving from our site of 23 years where it was created.

?At Mural Fest:

Live music from Brassica! Brass band

Meet & Greet with Theo Ellington, Bayview native, campaigning for Supervisor

Artist Talks - a program including several of our illustrious mural artists and writers speaking on the importance and role of street art.

Book Release Preview - sneak peek at a new book by Box Shop founder Charles Gadeken about the Mural Project

The Very Last Mural Tour - Walk and talk with Charles Gadeken as he tells the stories behind many of the murals.

Art-Making Activities and Skillshare: Artist Dana Albany hosts a mosaic build, and artist Hallie McConlogue hosts "Design your own Mural Ideas" Exquisite Corpse collaborative collage.

Our Open Houses welcome the community to visit and experience The Box Shop and its artists' Open Studios. We will host one more Open House in July before beginning our big move to a new building, also in Bayview-Hunters Point.

About the Mural Project: In response to COVID restrictions, we commissioned murals from Hunter's Point neighbors and community artists to beautify our outdoor gathering space and street-facing side, and to activate artists in the creation of new work in an uncertain time. This collection debuted with Mural Fest 2022, and has grown to over 140 artworks. The murals have been painted by artists of all stripes, from youth and emerging artists to legends like Jeremy Novy, Reuben Rude and Fnnch.
