The 2018 Muir Beach Holiday Arts Fair is set for Saturday, December 1st from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday, December 2nd from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the beautiful Muir Beach Community Center located at 19 Seacape Drive, a short 15 minutes from Highway 101 in the charming seaside community of Muir Beach. New this year, visitors can experience the extraordinary art of glass blowing onsite at the Fair. Shoppers will also be able to shop from an array of original and hand-made fine art, crafts, and gourmet holiday treats. A nearly 50-year tradition, the Muir Beach Holiday Arts Fair is a great reason to escape to the coast and shop for unique holiday gifts.
Over 40 local artists hailing from Marin and throughout the Bay Area will be selling their amazing artwork and colorful crafts including hand-made pottery, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, textiles, woodworking, home & fashion accessories, wreaths, ornaments crafted of glass and wood, rattles made from anything you can imagine, children’s toys and miniature wooden robots, hand-blown glass, holiday knick-knacks, and gifts from the garden. The famous MB Quilters will be on hand with scarves, dolls and quilts for sale, as well as the Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Dept. with their popular logo clothing and hats for adults and kids. Sales will benefit the MB Fire Dept.
Food and snacks will be available all day. And, of course, coffee and tea can be found at CAFÉ Q, with a balcony offering a view of the beach.
For over almost 50 years, the art fair has raised funds to help build and maintain the Muir Beach Community Center. This year’s proceeds will help support local community events.
