SEE EVENT DETAILS
Mr. Hat Presents a Cruise-In Concert with the legendary Los Lobos, with special guests The Doobie Decibel System. Both bands appearing live and in-person. Visuals by The Mad Alchemy Liquid Lightshow. This is now an alcohol free, family friendly event.

Ticket & Hotel packages available, stay down the street from the show at the Hampton Inn Discovery Kingdom and make a weekend getaway of it! Very limited Gold & Silver Circle Passes will be available. Gold & Silver Circle Pass Holders will get prime close-up placement, early admission and a free limited edition commemorative poster by Katie Kincade Designs. Attendance is limited, this show will sell out quickly, get in where you fit in!

Cruise-In concerts utilize an array of safety measures to achieve zero transmissions. All attendees must wear a mask and socially distance from other groups when outside their vehicles, and each vehicle and its occupants (up to 5 adults, each must have a seat belt in the vehicle) are assigned a 15x20' area in which you can park and dance or hang out on the driver's side. Restroom attendants will limit crowding and disinfect surfaces every half hour. There will be a high-quality FM broadcast so you can listen inside your vehicle. Food and beverages will be ordered via phone (2 food trucks with vegan options). A Safety Team and security will ensure that people remember to follow these guidelines (no Covidiots!)

Los Lobos are a legendary merican rock band from East Los Angeles, California, United States. Their music is influenced by rock and roll, Tex-Mex, country, zydeco, folk, R&B, blues, brown-eyed soul, and traditional music such as cumbia, boleros and norteños. The band gained international stardom in 1987, when their cover version of Ritchie Valens' "La Bamba" topped the charts in the U.S., the UK and several other countries. In 2015, they were nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2018, they were inducted into Austin City Limits Hall of Fame.

Los Lobos live shows never disappoint, as documented on the recent concert recordings Live at the Fillmore (2005) and Disconnected in New York City (2013). Los Lobos has sold millions of records, won prestigious awards and made fans around the world. But perhaps its most lasting impact will be how well its music embodies the idea of America as a cultural melting pot. In it, styles like son jarocho, norteño, Tejano, folk, country, doo-wop, soul, R&B, rock 'n' roll and punk all come together to create a new sound that's greater than the sum of its parts.

Doobie Decibel System (DDS) features Jason Crosby, Roger McNamee, and Dan "Lebo" Lebowitz. These seasoned musicians can be seen touring the country with various projects - Crosby with Phil Lesh, Jenny Lewis, and Jimmy Herring; McNamee with Full Moonalice: THC Revue and Lebo with ALO, Jack Johnson, and Steve Kimock. Together the trio is a mighty force! Chloe Tietjen of Full Moonalice: THC Revue and T Sisters brings her soaring vocals to round out the group. Expect originals and classic favorites with unexpected improvisations and unique arrangements.

The Mad Alchemy Liquid Lightshow is an Analog Liquid Light Show in the great San Francisco tradition of Bill Ham, Brotherhood of Light and Glen McKay. Headlights from the heyday of the Bay Area's 60's Psychedelic Ballrooms. Principal Lance Gordon has been involved and performing this art form since 1971. To learn more, visit madalchemy.net
