MPB stands for Popular Brazilian Music. The acronym was originated in the 60's by a movement local artists started to classify and empower the country’s traditional rhythms, like bossa nova, samba, and choro. Today, though, the genre evolved so much, it encompasses a lot of diversity, fusing blues, rock, funk and other rhythms. BRAZA! is creating an event to celebrate this diversity, co-hosted by Tuka Events. Featuring Dany Romano, a talented Brazilian pop-rock musician and composer from Sao Paulo, and Antonio Guedes, who’s been playing MPB in the Bay for more than 10 years, and who has instigated BRAZA! out of his passion for his culture. 21+
