Drunken Film Fest kicks off their new guest curated Movie Friends series with INSTRUMENT, a documentary about Fugazi by the band and filmmaker Jem Cohen.
Covering the first decade of the band's existence, INSTRUMENT gives an intimate look at the infamous Washington D.C. band who are as much a set of DIY ethics as a quartet of friends, with Cohen himself attending high school with Fugazi co-founder Ian MacKaye.
Local writer José Vadi will begin the night with an essay about the film.
General Admission: $10 at the door.
