Mother’s Day Celebration at Copper Spoon in Oakland

On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13, Copper Spoon in Oakland will open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for brunch and 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. for dinner serving their regular menus plus specials including Crispy Pan Seared Salmon with basil almond pesto, apple wood grilled spring onions, citrus glazed market vegetables; Hamachi Crudo with Meyer lemon, cucumber golden beet relish, trout roe. finger lime, cilantro and jalapeno oil; Spring Roasted Vegetable Quiche with asparagus, wild king trumpet mushrooms, harissa cream and shaved radishes; White Cheddar Biscuits and Green Garlic Gravy with the option of adding seven-spiced fried chicken; and a Vegan Brown Rice Bowl with sesame oil, smoked avocado, sunflower seeds, baby carrots, charred lemon mustard greens and red pepper ginger sauce.

Among the libations will be women’s favorite cocktails offered in punch form for larger parties all day.

These will be the Down the Rabbit Hole with mezcal, barrel aged gin, and carrot juice with turmeric honey and fresh lemon and I Am Loyalty with wormwood infused vodka, Sfumato amaro, cold brewed hibiscus pink peppercorn-clove tonic, and fresh lime. All mothers will receive a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.

There will also be seasonal mocktails for all non-alcoholic drinkers.

Late night Happy Hours will be 10:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
