Grammy Nominated Artist Tebo to Headline This Year's Event.
Grammy nominated and accomplished producer and bassist Tebo will headline this year’s festival bringing his signature blend of funky blues. Frank ‘Tebo” Thibeaux has collaborated with a variety of artists including Herbie Hancock, John Lee Hooker, Kenny Neal and New Edition. The line up will also include Henrik Martin, Burnin Vernon Davis, Liquid Sky, Diva Lady Chico and Kay Bohler to create a day of Blues not to missed.
This free family friendly event will take place over the Labor Day weekend at the beautiful outdoor amphitheater and has the capacity for 3,000 people in a picnic style lawn setting. Guests are welcome to bring small lawn chairs and blankets.
Tony Houston, the Festival's Organizer said, " We are excited to host this free event for the 3rd year running. We are thrilled to have Grammy nominated Tebo to headline for us. We have a great line up of talent who are giving up their day to deliver a full day of Blues. It promises to be a fun family event with some great performances. All that we ask is that people refrain from bringing coolers, food or alcohol to the venue. We rely on the proceeds of food and drink to pay the artists and to be able to deliver this event free to the community. So, if you’re at a loose end over Labor Day and don’t want to leave town, then come and enjoy the festivities.”
