We’re supposed to know how to do it all. Our kids are supposed to be polite and speak three languages, and we’re never supposed to have food in our hair or cry when things go badly. :-) Ditch the work duds and burp cloths get comfy at our casual moms evening out. Come on over for coffee, tea, wine or a bite at the lovely Crossroads Cafe. Meet other neighborhood moms and swap stories and advice. Neighborhood 4 will be sponsoring some wine and appetizers. We're hoping to make this a monthly event if there's enough interest.
More about Crossroads Cafe: "Crossroads Café is a training school of the Delancey Street Foundation, the country's largest self-help residential educational center for people who have hit bottom to completely rebuild their lives. Newcomers to Delancey Street Foundation are "immigrants" of all races, all ages, all backgrounds, who come together in this community of last resort. Not only is our food fresh and homemade, our entire café is "homemade" as well. We built the structure, hand-carved our bar, hand-built the bookcases and poured and cut the concrete. In an incredible show of community support, Howard Lester, the CEO of Pottery Barn donated our fabulous furniture and dishes. The Cafe was voted in the top 10 for CITY'S BEST the last two years for Family Friendly Restaurant in the AOL San Francisco Cityguide."
Note: It's fine to bring your little ones if you can't find someone to watch them.
