Modernbook Editions: A Restrospective
Exhibition: March 6 through April 26, 2014.
In 2006, after numerous successful exhibitions, Modernbook Gallery released its first two art books under the publishing name modernbook editions. Our inspiration for publishing resulted from the talented artists we have worked with over the years such as Fan Ho, Brigitte Carnochan, Tom Chambers, Jamie Baldridge, Fred Lyon among many others.
Modernbook editions specialize in creating high quality, small quantity beautifully printed art books. The books are generally available in two formats: Regular and Limited Edition box set. Limited Edition box sets are numbered, include a first edition book, original photograph, and housed in an elegant linen bound case. Either format is ideal for the emerging and passionate book collector.
As you make your way through the gallery, we invite you to flip through our open books. We have paired the limited edition prints along side some original pieces. The books are curated chronologically beginning with Fan Ho’s Hong Kong Yesterday.
