Modern Landscape is presented as an environmental documentary about the overwhelming amount of road kill natural to our current landscapes. With the introduction of roads, automobiles and its endless expansion, currently 1 million animals are killed daily in the United States by encountering a vehicle. The resulting images in this series were made with Sinar 4x5 & Mamiya RB67 cameras. The project was completed over the course of six years, 30,000 miles, 47 states and 5 Canadian Providences.
