Instagram is cool, but as far as photographer Josh Marcotte is concerned, Hipstamatic is an app that actually more closely resembles what it's like to shoot on film. There are a bunch of old "film" lenses to choose from, but no post-picture filters. What you take is what you get. Marcotte's show "Mobile Manipulation," is a collection of his best Hipstamatic photos since 2011. He also runs a blog called Lost San Jose, in which he documents all the obscure, overlooked nooks and crannies of Silicon Valley. (Aaron Carnes)
