Douglas Allen (of Blood and Dust)
http://bloodanddustmusic.com/about/
With a voice that’s one part whiskey and two parts honey, Blood & Dust blurs the lines between folk, blues, and soul. Born the son of a farmer and hailing from Southern Oklahoma, this ex-Baptist preacher takes every raw emotion you know and channels it into the strings of his guitar. Coming onto the Bay Area Music Scene in early 2012, Blood & Dust is most recognizable for gritty melodies and intensely emotive guitar playing; it’s like having the barrel of a six shooter pointed straight at your chest. Listen at your own risk.
