Come to the 17th Annual Olive Festival: The annual Olive Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday – October 6th and 7th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, presented by the Mission San Jose Chamber of Commerce. Bring your families to enjoy food, live music & entertainment, arts & crafts, kids’ activities, beer & wine, as well as drawings and prizes. Enjoy shopping for everything from olive oil and olive wood products to gourmet and specialty foods and honey. Hungry? Enjoy a delicious variety of French pizza, gourmet hot dogs, linguica sandwiches, and Italian Ice. And don’t forget DasBrew beer, wine and sodas. Free Admission!
This year’s live music includes local favorites such as Across Party Lines as well as the always entertaining Dixie Dominus Traditional Jazz Band. Returning this year will be the Mission San Jose High School Band and the amazing Dream Achievers Band. If you are looking for dance, we have the Hula Moves group and the Tehani Dancers. And don’t miss the Wadaiko Newark Taiko drum group.
The Festival is located behind Historic Old Mission San Jose in the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose Olive Grove near the intersection of Mission Blvd. and Washington Blvd. at 43326 Mission Blvd. Enter the Festival via Mission Tierra Place or park on Mission Blvd. and walk through Bicentennial Plaza.
