We start our season with a program that includes Malcolm Arnold’s Four Scottish Dances, a rousing arrangement of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue, Kurt Weill’s Mack the Knife, Wild West: The Best of Ennio Morricone, and in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, Bilik’s American Civil War Fantasy. Featured soloists for the opening concert are John Monroe, euphonium, playing Carrickfergus and Ken Walter, cornet, playing Gabriel’s Oboe.
