Mira Goto
https://www.miragoto.com/

Growing up, music was central to Mira’s life. Beginning with violin and trading it in for guitar at age 15, Mira has been writing music ever since. She has evolved into a versatile and multifaceted artist with her own signature sound and stylization, and has become a vital voice in her music community.

Encompassing a lyrically driven, modern country sound with energetic pop music elements, Mira’s music resonates with a style that touches on equal parts originality and familiarity. She gives her audience a taste of something fresh yet still identifiable. Her music is also reminiscent of several artist influences including Jason Mraz, Kacey Musgraves, Katy Perry, The Civil Wars and the early days of Jack Johnson.

She began her early stages of performing by doing live performances on the well-known platform, Periscope when it first launched. Her fan base grew quickly leading her to become one of the first VIP Gold broadcasters in Periscope’s community. Currently, she streams regularly for her fans averaging an upwards of 60,000+ views per broadcast, and recently booked a country wide tour this past summer based on her live streaming fan base alone.

Now established as a highly influential and successful artist in the online broadcast network, Mira is ready to take her show to a live audience. Her debut album, “New Plaid Shirt” (under the name Mira Parfitt) received national attention, and she has since won the West Coast Songwriter’s International songwriting competition. That win garnered her the opportunity to open for national recording artists Five for Fighting.

She recently inked a deal with independent LA based label Artist Max, owned by Ken Caillat (Fleetwood Mac, Colbie Caillat), and has released her first single with them entitled “Next Life”. The song is a duet Mira co-wrote with Michael Logen (Kelly Clarkson, Mat Kearney), and recorded with Marc Broussard. The song is available on iTunes and streaming services everywhere.
