Minnesota Street Project Foundation presents The San Francisco Art Book Fair

One of the most anticipated, free, large-scale annual Bay Area arts events, SFABF celebrates art publishing and print culture, bringing together independent publishers, artists, designers, collectors, and enthusiasts from around the world.

Founded in 2016, San Francisco Art Book Fair (SFABF) is a dynamic, multi-day event showcasing a wide range of printed material, including artists' books, zines, monographs, art catalogs, periodicals, and printed ephemera. Since 2023, when Minnesota Street Project Foundation stepped in as the non-profit presenting organization behind this beloved cultural event, public enthusiasm has continued to grow, as has its footprint-which now encompasses four buildings along Minnesota Street.

The fair serves as an important platform for independent publishing, fostering engagement and placing the unique history and perspectives of the Bay Area in dialogue with national and international publishing communities. SFABF25 features an extensive roster of over 150 exhibitors, 30 of whom are international, traveling from countries including Australia, Indonesia, Japan, and Nicaragua. For a complete list of exhibitors, see the SFABF website. The programming schedule will be announced soon.

Adding to the excitement, Minnesota Street Project Foundation is inviting visitors into the Screening Gallery and Exhibition Warehouse at 1201 Minnesota Street to experience new and never-before seen programs, exhibitions, and events, including West Coast and international debuts.
