MILK WAS A BAD CHOICEÂ
Our free Wednesday night series is ripping into April full blast with sets from three great Bay Area bands! As always, this event is free with RSVP and $5 the day of show, so hit that RSVP link and come out to support local music!!
WanderÂ
Oakland quartet Wander will take you to another world. The post-rock outfit creates enveloping guitar-centric tunes fit for a coastal drive down Highway 1. In 2016 they signed to Los Angeles-based indie label Other People Records and released their sprawling epic, Mourning, earning them many favoring reviews from local publications as well as a loyal Bay Area fanbase.
SchlotmanÂ
Schlotman first came together in the winter of 2014 as a bi-coastal recording project between former members of WAG and Kal Marks. Now based solely in San Francisco, the band has moved far beyond its modest 4-track beginnings with the release of their debut 7†single, Oakland (included in the Bay Bridged Best of 2016) and the followup EP, Dog Save the Scene. With a reputation for high-energy live shows and songwriting that can swing from aggressive guitar hooks to delicate melodies in a matter of seconds, Schlotman has quickly gained a dedicated following in the Bay Area.
ClumsyÂ
Clumsy is the project of Oakland teens Matt, Fabrizio, and Adam, and while they may not be old enough to drink yet, they sure are old enough to write some killer songs. Their eclectic sound comes from a mix of bedroom pop, psych rock, and shoegaze to say the least. Though they have just transformed from a quartet to a trio, it doesn't slow down their exciting live performances.
