Midnight Flyer - A Tribute to The Eagles

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Sept 14, 8pm; Sept 15, 2pm

On Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15, the Firehouse Arts Center Theater in downtown Pleasanton plays host to Midnight Flyer, the concert show tribute to the iconic American country and soft rock band The Eagles. Saturday show is 8:00 p.m., and Sunday matinee is 2:00 p.m.

Known for their spot-on harmonies, musicianship, and mastery of the play-list, the five-piece band pays tribute to the band that made country rock 'n roll NOT an oxymoron. From 1972 to 1979, The Eagles created such top hits as Take It Easy, Witchy Woman, Desperado, Hotel California, The Long Run and so many more. The songs that defined the group, and many of that generation, have enjoyed non-stop radio play through today.

The Eagles were formed Los Angeles in 1971, and inducted into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. The statistics: five number-one singles, six number-one albums, six Grammy Awards, and five American Music Awards. Their albums Greatest Hits (1971-1975) and Hotel California rank first and third, respectively, among the best-selling albums in the United States, with 38 million and 26 million album units in sales. World-wide The Eagles are one of the best-selling bands, having sold more than 200 million records, including 100 million albums sold in U.S alone.

The Midnight Flyer Band is Matt Owens, Keith Roberson, Marcus Cole, Bruce Holloway and Charles Waltmire.

Reserved seat tickets: $20 - $30.

Presented by City of Pleasanton Firehouse Arts Center.
