Michael Lerner has been drawn to questions of healing and self-understanding for most of his life. He is president of Commonweal in Bolinas, California, which he co-founded in 1976. Commonweal affords over twenty programs in health, education, the arts, justice, and the environment. Michael himself has co-led more than 200 week-long Commonweal Cancer Help Program retreats that integrate many healing approaches. He received a MacArthur Prize Fellowship in 1983. Michael Lerner will be interviewed by John Beebe. Together they will explore his journey through the opposites of the archetypal world with an emphasis on love and loss, healing and grief, and the quest to be fully, if imperfectly, human.
