THIS EVENT HAS ENDED
Join artist Giovanni Pulze for his Opening Reception & Talk on July 19 at the Italian Cultural Institute!
The individualism of our society, favored by modern social networks and technological devices, and by the every-day stress of a life made of noises, commotion and distractions, prevents people from interrelating and communicating with each other, and from experiencing the positive energy concealed in each of us. This is the main message of Giovanni Pulze’s novel works regarding Metropolitan Angels. The angel, a seemingly common man recognizable by his wings, transforms himself into a messenger of sharing and help, since he is suitable for an empathetic, positive and generous relationship which mutates, without notice, into perceivable reality.
Giovanni Pulze was born in Piove di Sacco, near Padua, in 1960. Always gifted to art, he began to exhibit at the age of seventeen and in 1981 he held his first solo exhibition. In the 90’s he "transformed" himself in a successful eyewear designer for some of the best brands such as Versace, Valentino, Roccobarocco. In the late 90's he returned to his great passion, painting.
