Metallica, Janet Jackson to Headline Ninth Annual The Concert for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals

WHAT: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy-award winning rock band Metallica will perform at The Concert for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, a benefit concert presented by Salesforce.org in conjunction with Salesforce’s annual Dreamforce conference. Dreamforce brings together thought leaders, industry pioneers and numerous companies and industries for four high-energy days of innovation, empowerment, giving back and fun.

In addition to Metallica’s performance in San Francisco’s Civic Center Plaza, MC Hammer will host a star-studded after-party at City Hall immediately following the concert. The evening will also include a cocktail reception where Michael Anderson, MD, President of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, will present UCSF patient Myla Cunanan with the UCSF General Colin Powell Medal of Courage Award.
