Meet the Media: A Discussion Around LGBT Issues & How They're Being Covered
In celebration of LGBT Pride Month, PRSA-SF is hosting its next “Meet the Media” event at the SF LGBT Center for a panel discussion around LGBT issues and how they’re being covered by journalists. Although the movement for LGBT rights has made progress in recent years, there are still more battles to be fought, especially with the Trump administration’s attempt to roll back equal rights in the United States. Join us for a spirited panel discussion with some of the Bay Area’s premiere LGBT journalists to explore the state of media coverage for LGBT issues and what the future has in store.
