Meet & Greet with Amy Chin

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Chinese Historical Society of America (CHSA) (see times)
Meet the woman behind the comic.
On August 3, 2017, CHSA welcomes Amy Chin for a special meet and greet event at our museum. For decades, Amy Chin’s family carefully saved records, objects, and other personal artifacts. After discovering this trove of old family treasures in her late mother’s belongings, Amy began what she calls her ‘journey to unforgetting’. She researched and pieced together her family’s immigration story which was later re-interpreted as a 12-panel, life-sized graphic novel for the exhibition “Chinese American Exclusion/Inclusion” now on display at the Chinese Historical Society of America.
Space is limited - RSVP today to reserve your spot to meet Amy Chin in person! Tickets include admission to CHSA.
Amy Chin is an arts management consultant working with non-profit companies, government agencies, foundations and individual artists. She has been researching Chinese American history and genealogy since childhood. In addition to her own research, she has provided select genealogy consultation services to private clients and institutions. Amy holds a B.A. in East Asian studies from Barnard College, Columbia University.
