Mc Chris w/ Crunk Witch, Cartoon Violence

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Re-live your high school days by seeing MC Chris rap about Star Wars, Dungeons and Dragons, and other general nerd magnet subjects. The rapper (real name Chris Ward) skyrocketed to fame in the 2000s on the back of Cartoon Network and nerdcore, but stayed there due to the strength of his raps and punk rock ethos. A higher pitch voice (heaven sent for cartoons), fast cadence, and tongue placed firmly in cheek all complement his array of dope beats. In the decades since he debuted as Aqua Teen fan favorite MC Pee Pants, he's worked on his own animated shows as well as scores for Kevin Smith's podcasts, as well as producing several albums of originals, including, worryingly enough until you remember MC Chris is a dad now, two children's albums. Live, the emcee does not disappoint- expect trademark hits along with some deep cuts, and loads of exposition and audience interaction.

Crunk Witch is the husband and wife electro-pop duo from Maine that make bangin' beats and rad parties a reality. Their music is a blend of pop, rock, chiptune, and various electronic genres. Many of their lyrics are set in a science fiction reality and involve themes of adventure and romance. The group spends nearly half a year playing shows across the U.S. at a variety of venues including comic-cons, arcades, festivals, and bars.

Rocking their way through the cosmos, Professor Robot and Dr. Octave are Cartoon Violence! Sonic warriors with a hard outer Chip-Punk candy shell and a gooey Nerdcore center, this duo is ready to bring the party to your face with their catchy tunes.
